Uh-oh, it actually turned out kinda cool.

I’d drive that.

It Should Be Red

It just looks so right . There’s no real way to explain why it looks good, it just does.

Too bad about the...everything other than looks though, eh?

Yeah. But if cars are stanced in order to look cool, this would take the cake.

Given that its “form over function” relationship I suppose the optimal way to maximize “Stance” is to start with a base of limited function. The less functional the car, the more stance, right? I think that’s the formula I read online somewhere.

Like this Ford Taurus Wagon.

Man! That’s like 180 stance!

Why is it that jellybean sedans from the 90s and early 2000s look so righteous when slammed hard?

It compliments and completes the “melted” look.

Chrysler already did that, the 300M special was lowered half an inch from the regular car

I miss when cars were low-slung and sleek.

We must go lower.

Those look like Rota Shakotan’s which I have been debating getting for my 124 Spider. Not sure if they’d look good on a 70s vert or not...
What are the Rotas reps of? Anyone know?

Get some better rims and hot damn.

No idea what they are reps of, but I think they’d look quite nice. Plenty of dish, which is perfect for a 124 Spider. Are you going with cibies and an air dam to complete the look?

Can’t be to many of those like that. Definately unique

Yes and yes. Probably end up with yellow tinted Hellas (real cibies aren’t worth the extra $100 imo). Torn between the rotas, cromodora 66 reps, and having diamond race wheels custom make a set of steelies (14x6 offset 20) with a chrome barrel and a flat gold painted center. Car is a '78, red over black, black top. Resto is in progress. Afterwards motor will be built with twin Webbers and bumpers are pulled for Abarth bumperettes. Should look mean.

Diamond steelies would be far too heavy for the car. Have you looked into Enkei Compes? They look a lot like RS Watanabes, but are much cheaper. IIRC, you can get them from Tire Rack for a relatively modest sum.

If you get this car to me I will build a hellcat inspired engine for it and convert it to RWD manual...

Enkei doesn’t make anything in a 4x98 bolt pattern. Stupid Fiat. I’m trying to stay in a 14" wheel too. 15s can look too big sometimes, not enough sidewall on the tire, especially when lowered slightly.

If you can get the Shakotans in 4x98, I’d go for it.

I believe the rotas are reps of Hayashi Racing Wheels, probably the CR or ST
